Patient Rights

Right to Benefit from Services

Every patient who applies to our hospital, regardless of their physical, intellectual and social characteristics, has the right to benefit from all available diagnostic and treatment facilities in the best way possible.

Right to Respect and Dignity

The patient has the right to receive diagnosis and treatment in a respectful, kind, compassionate and friendly environment, always protecting their individual dignity.

Right to Privacy

In our hospital, it is essential to respect the patient's privacy. The patient may also explicitly request the protection of his/her privacy. All medical interventions are carried out by respecting the patient's privacy.

Patient's Right to Consent and Consent

Our patients and their relatives have the right to accept, refuse or ask for the proposed treatment to be stopped after being adequately informed.

Right to Information

The patient may request that he or she, his or her relatives or no one else be informed about his or her state of health. In this case, the patient's decision is taken in writing. The patient may change his/her request not to be informed at any time and request to be informed.

Our patients and their families have the right to receive information on how to choose to donate organs and other tissues. Organ donation is a completely voluntary medical practice. Our patients are informed and directed to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health organ donation centers upon their request.

Right to Know Identity

Our patients have the right to know the identity and duties of all employees with whom they are in contact at every stage of their treatment.

Right to Communication

Patients with language barriers have the right to request an interpreter to understand their language for the duration of their treatment.

Right to Consultation

Our patients have the right to request a consultation with another specialist at their own request and upon acceptance of additional payment.

However, the treatment recommended as a result of the consultation shall be carried out by the staff of the health institution where the patient is located, if agreed with the patient's responsible physician.

Right to Request a Second Opinion

The patient has the right to receive information about his/her health condition from another physician working in the same branch other than the physician dealing with his/her treatment.

Right to Personnel Selection

Our patients have the right to choose and change the doctor, nurse and other health personnel responsible for their treatment.

Right to Refuse Planned Treatment

The patient has the right to refuse or stop the treatment that is planned to be applied or is being applied to him/her, except in legally mandatory cases and with the responsibility of the patient for any negative consequences that may arise.

Right to Know the Rules of the Institution

Our patients have the right to obtain information about the rules and practices of our hospital. Our patients have the right to request correction of documents related to the disease, treatment procedure and invoice records.

Right to Security

Our patients have the right to be safe and secure in our hospital. Necessary measures are taken to protect and ensure the safety of life and property of patients and visitors.

Right to Know Treatment Costs

Our patients have the right to learn the cost of treatment services and receive an open invoice prior to treatment.

Right to Submit Complaints, Comments and Suggestions

The patient and the patient's family have the right to initiate, review, finalize and be informed about the outcome of the complaint mechanism in our hospital.

Right to Choose and Change the Organization

Our patients have the right to choose and change health institutions and organizations, provided that the procedures and conditions stipulated by the laws of the Republic of Turkey are complied with.

The Right to Perform Religious Obligations

Patients and their relatives, such as visitors and companions, have the right to take the necessary measures to protect and ensure the safety of their lives and property. The right to fulfill their religious obligations without religious discrimination and as long as it does not interfere with treatment.

Patient Responsibilities

Responsibility to Provide Information

Patients should provide accurate and complete information to the doctors, psychologists and nurses in charge of medical care about their medical history, current complaints, treatments, medications and any changes in their condition.

Responsibility to Report Communicable Disease

Patients with suspected or diagnosed infectious diseases should inform the healthcare professionals at our hospital.

Infection Control Responsibility

Our patients and relatives are responsible for being sensitive to all measures recommended to them to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

Responsibility to Follow Recommendations

Our patient is also obliged to comply with the treatment plan recommended by the doctor responsible for his/her treatment and to accept the fulfillment of the care plan by the relevant health personnel in accordance with the doctor's instructions.

The Responsibility to Respect

Our patients are responsible for acting in accordance with the measures and rules to be taken by our center in disturbing situations such as noise and visitors that endanger patients and their relatives within the health institution.

Responsibility to Follow Visitor Rules

Our patients have the responsibility to accept patients and visitors within the framework of the rules set by our hospital.

Liability to Indemnify

In the event that our patients damage the fixtures or consumables of our hospital as a result of misuse or intentionally, they are responsible for compensating the damage and loss.

Responsibility to Comply with Health Organization Rules

Our patients are responsible for complying with hospital rules and practices.

Responsibility to Pay Treatment Expenses

At the time of application to our hospital, our patients must inform us how and by which institution or organization their medical expenses will be covered. Patients are obliged to pay the amount due for treatment within the period specified by the institution.
