Güler Arslantaş completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology in Melbourne, Australia, where she also went on to complete her Honours degree. She later obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Medipol University.
Her current academic interests include loneliness, mental health, and contextual behavioral science. She continues to contribute to the field through her research, which has been accepted for presentation at international conferences.
Throughout her postgraduate education and professional development, Güler Arslantaş has provided individual psychotherapy under supervision. She has received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), as well as in the field of addiction. In addition to her clinical training, she has completed internships at Moodist Hospital and Yeşilay Counseling Centers.
In her clinical practice, she places scientific and ethical principles at the core of her work. By keeping up to date with current scientific developments, she adopts an evidence-based approach to psychotherapy that takes into account each client’s individual needs and characteristics.
Arslantaş places particular importance on establishing a trusting, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. She aims to support her clients’ psychological well-being and functioning while providing an individualized therapeutic process that helps them develop a deeper understanding of themselves, the difficulties they experience, and their patterns of behavior.
