Mader Bengisu Bilgen

She began her undergraduate education on a full scholarship in the Department of Psychology (English Program) at FMV Işık University. During her undergraduate studies, she completed internships at the Probation Directorate, Corporate Communications Departments, and Acıbadem Hospital.

During this period, she worked as an Academic Research Assistant at FMV Işık University and was selected as a work-study scholarship student in the Corporate Communications Team. She also served in various roles within student clubs, including Project Coordinator and Founding Member. In addition, she held various positions as a Team Coordinator and Trainer within the Couple and Family Therapies Association, the Turkish Psychological Association, the Turkish Psychology Students Working Group (TPÖÇG), and the European Federation of Psychology Students’ Associations (EFPSA).

Following her undergraduate graduation, she gained professional experience in various institutions and organizations and has been working at Private Moodist Hospital since 2021. After serving as the Manager of the Education Unit, she has continued her work as a Trainer and Psychologist. During this period, she completed the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) training under Prof. Dr. Bruce Perry and became one of the few certified trainers of the model in Türkiye. She also translated into Turkish an e-book consisting of Bruce Perry’s articles.

In the Fall semester of 2022, she enrolled in the Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology at FMV Işık University and graduated after completing her master’s thesis titled Predictors of Family Resilience in Caregivers of Individuals Diagnosed with Psychotic Disorders: Family Sense of Coherence, Difficulties in Emotion Regulation, and Caregiver Burden.

She has completed training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and continues to provide psychotherapy under clinical supervision.
