Clinical Psychologist Emir Coşkun completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University between 2016 and 2020. He subsequently earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Kent University in 2024, obtaining the title of Clinical Psychologist.
During his professional development, he worked as a Clinical Psychology Assistant at Private Moodist Hospital for one year and completed long-term clinical internships at various mental health institutions. Throughout this period, he gained experience in psychiatric assessment, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
He currently serves as a Clinical Psychologist at Private Moodist Hospital, where he provides psychological assessments, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and psychoeducation for individuals with a range of psychiatric conditions, particularly psychotic disorders and bipolar disorder.
In his clinical practice, he primarily adopts the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. He has completed professional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy under Prof. Dr. Ebru Şalcıoğlu, Motivational Interviewing under Prof. Dr. Kültegin Ögel, Sports Psychology under Clinical Psychologist Arda Coşkun and Dr. Beren Çetiner, and Sex Therapy under Prof. Dr. Cebrail Kısa. He conducts his clinical work with a scientific, ethical, and client-centered approach, adhering to evidence-based principles.
