Children and adolescents may experience feelings, thoughts and behaviours that may cause significant problems for themselves and their environment. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry aims to identify, treat and/or prevent these problems.
The treatment process includes medical treatment, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, family support and school interviews. We work in cooperation with the child, family, school and treatment team during the treatment process in order to increase the functionality of children and to get more benefits from the treatment.
As Moodist Psychiatry and Neurology Hospital, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Centre offers both outpatient and inpatient treatment with our Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and Developmental Psychologists.
