Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children IV (WISC-IV)

The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children IV is a clinical measurement tool that aims to evaluate the cognitive skills of children aged 6 to 16 years and 11 months and is applied individually by competent people.

With this measurement tool, while it is possible to evaluate the child both within himself/herself and according to his/her peers, at the same time, data are obtained in order to perform the necessary work for the child’s strong or supported skills.

WISC-IV is the updated version of WISC-R commonly used for children in the clinical field. Due to the fact that WISC-R was limited to the conditions in the years when it was adapted, it was needed to be renewed with the idea that it did not fully reflect the mental development, strengths and weaknesses of today’s children and that the results obtained were not reliable.

Based on scientific and up-to-date data for the evaluation of children in the age range that Moodist Experts aim to measure, WISC-IV is recognized as the most reliable measurement tool used in the field to plan, work and counsel in clinical and educational fields.
