Ayça Kumru Urgancı, a Clinical Psychologist, graduated from Istanbul Medipol University’s counselling psychology department, where the language of instruction is entirely in English, with an honour’s degree in 2022. Throughout her Bachelor’s education, she has been gaining experience by doing internships in psychological counselling and guidance services of various schools, psychotherapy clinics and non-governmental organisations. During her undergraduate education, she completed the Family Counselling training programme at Marmara University. Having received trainings and attended seminars throughout and after her undergraduate education, she has contributed to her professional development.
Ayça Kumru Urgancı was entitled to obtain the title of clinical psychologist with her project titled ‘Investigation of Mindfulness and Self-Efficacy Levels of Individuals Suffering from Alcohol and Drug Addiction’ in the Clinical Psychology Master’s programme at Istanbul Kent University in 2023. Furthermore, In May 2023, she completed her long-term internship as an assistant psychologist at Private Moodist Hospital. In 2024, she started working as a Clinical Psychologist at Private Moodist Hospital and has been working in this position since then. She conducts her therapies with the school of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Schema Therapy.
