Psychologist Irem Bengü Yilmazcan graduated from FMV Isik University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Psychology (English). She completed her internships as a volunteer psychologist at a private educational institution working with children, rehabilitation centre, counselling centres and finally inpatient psychiatry services at Moodist Hospital. During her internship, she practiced Psycho-educations and Psychological tests.
Between 2016-2020, she continued to work as a trainer at exhibition tours for school groups and at art workshops for pedagogically supported children for individual groups at Sakip Sabanci Museum within the body of a consultancy centre. She continued to teach at art workshops for pedagogically supported children cooperatively with many private corporate brands at Ulker Art Workshops for Children at Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair and Creative Children’s Festival. She continued her work with children and families at a private educational institution and then at the clinic with Experiential Play Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy and Art Therapy practices.
She is a member of the Turkish Psychologists Association and the Art Psychotherapies Association.
