Clinical Psychologist Rana Kara

After successfully completing her undergraduate education in Üsküdar University, Department of Psychology (English), she graduated from the Master’s programme in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University. She simultaneously started her master’s degree in Neuroscience (in English).

For 9 consecutive months, worked as a board member and volunteer psychologist in an association active for equal opportunities in education. Provided voluntary counselling, mentoring and individual sessions to students coming from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Simultaneously, participated in online and face-to-face sessions with clients diagnosed with social phobia, agoraphobia, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder in the outpatient clinic of NP Feneryolu Medical Centre for a period of 1 year.

Served as an assistant psychologist for 1 year and 10 months in AMATEM, substance-related psychosis and closed psychiatry inpatient services of Moodist Psychiatry and Neurology Hospital. She has been working as a clinical psychologist at Private Moodist Hospital since the year 2023. She provides consultation both in Turkish and English languages.
