Psychologist Rana Kara

After graduating from her bachelor’s degree at Üsküdar University, Department of Psychology (English), she started her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience (English) at Üsküdar University.

She worked for 9 months as a board member and volunteer psychologist in an association operating for equality of opportunity in education. She provided voluntary counseling, mentoring, and individual sessions to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Simultaneously, she attended online and face-to-face exposure therapy sessions for clients diagnosed with social phobia, agoraphobia, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder in the outpatient clinic of NP Feneryolu Medical Center for 1 year.

She worked as an assistant psychologist for 1 year and 10 months in AMATEM, substance-related psychosis, and inpatient services of psychiatry in Moodist Psychiatry and Neurology Hospital.

She has been working as a Psychologist at Moodist Hospital since 2023.

She provides counselling service in Turkish and English languages.
